COURSE PLAN 2024/2025
OMNIA CONJUGO – INSTITUTO BIODINÂMICO organizes, from S. Miguel, September 29th, courses, seminars and debate forums, in Biodynamics, which guarantee:

Acquisition of knowledge and skills capable of ensuring that a biodynamic project can be started with confidence and security.

Active participation in the national and international biodynamic movement.

Personal, social and technical development that goes beyond the simple repetition of clichés and phrases without deep meaning.

Continuity of learning and development for those who attended a course with us in previous years.
Courses and training are classified into categories according to the depth with which the topics included in them are covered. Furthermore, this allows continuity and deepening of a specific topic from one level to another, from training to training.
So we will have:

LEVEL 1 – Presentation and introduction

LEVEL 2 – Basic professional and technical training

LEVEL 3 – In-depth training in Biodynamics and associated topics

LEVEL 4 – Research and training in basic themes of biodynamic thinking
Each course and training is guided to the self-responsibility of each person and, therefore, will not only be based on presentations of the various themes that make up Biodynamics, but also on questions, exercises, tests, debates and, above all, on the contribution activity of each participant, which will be strongly stimulated.
In each course there will be artistic and other personal development exercises, doubt answering sessions, forums to debate the topics presented, tests, work execution and technical visits to biodynamic farms.
Trainees will also be asked to present projects, fictitious or real, which will be monitored and evaluated during the course. At the end, a global assessment of the trainees and trainers will be made.
Based on these principles, we will start the following courses and training actions from autumn onwards:

Lectures introducing Biodynamics and associated topics (Level 1) - These lectures can be presential or online and are intended to present Biodynamics and other associated topics to anyone They will be carried out on demand.

INTRODUCTION TO BIODYNAMICS course (Level 1) - mixed course (online/presential) mainly aimed at anyone interested in the subject.

Forums on various topics related to biodynamic agriculture (Level 1) - These forums are a debate between participants on the proposed topic, coordinated by a biodynamic consultant. They are intended, above all, to collect information, update and compare various production techniques and dwelve deeper into the main themes of Biodynamics.

Demeter (Bases and Practices) Training Course (Level 2) - complete face-to-face technical training course (with the possibility of some sessions being online) accredited by BFDI (Biodynamic Federation Demeter International). It is aimed at organic growers interested in working according to the Demeter certification guidelines.

SEMINARS (Level 2/3) - these short, mixed courses, in addition to covering Biodynamics topics, are adapted to those who have already taken an Introduction course and want to improve, update or deepen their knowledge in Biodynamics.

Course “The Plant between the Sun and the Earth” (Level 4) - complete presential course on a scientific approach to the plant world and the subtle forces that act within it. The scientific approach will always be taken, comparing the traditional method with the Goetheanistic method. Recommended for anyone interested in a scientific approach to Biodynamics, especially agricultural technicians and operators.

Training course for technicians/consultants in Biodynamic Agriculture (Level 4 +) - Course aimed at those who intend to become a consultant in Biodynamics. For more information, please contact INSTITUTO.BIODINÂMICO.

Refresher course for workers on Demeter farms - course aimed exclusively at workers on Demeter certified farms – practical, face-to-face course supported by DemeteR standards
All courses and training will be paid upfront without refunds in case of absences.
NOTE:
2023 course participants can attend the Introduction course (BASES) free of charge and the level 2/3 seminars with a 50% reduction in cost.
Those for 2022, with a 50% reduction in the Introduction course (BASES) and 25% in level 2/3 seminars.
